Tetra Sodium Salt of 1-Hydroxy Ethylidene-1,1- Diphosphonic Acid (HEDP•Na4 Granule)
Properties:
HEDP•Na4 is even granule with excellent fluidity, low dust content, low hygroscopicity and easy handling properties.
HEDP•Na4 is a powerful chelating agent. As a household cleaning agent and industrial cleaner auxiliary, HEDP•Na4 can stabilize metal ions in water and enhance effect of decontamination under high pH washing condition.
HEDP•Na4 can be used in cosmetics and personal care to restrain rancidity and discoloration.
HEDP•Na4 can be used as slow-release scale corrosion inhibitor after being compressed into tablets with other auxiliaries. HEDP•Na4 works as oxygen bleaching stabilizer in dyeing and paper making industry.

HEDP•Na4 is alkaline, pay attention to labor protection during operation. Avoid contacting with eye and skin, once contacted, flush with water and then seek medical advice.
HEDP·Na4 Granule protective measures:
When working with HEDP·Na4 (Hydroxyethylidene Diphosphonic Acid Tetrasodium Salt) granules, it is important to follow appropriate protective measures to ensure safety. Here are some protective measures to consider:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear suitable PPE, including gloves, goggles or a face shield, and a lab coat or protective clothing, when handling HEDP·Na4 granules. This will help protect your skin, eyes, and clothing from potential contact or splashes.
- Ventilation: Work in a well-ventilated area to minimize the inhalation of any dust or particles that may be generated during handling. If necessary, use local exhaust ventilation or respiratory protection devices to further control exposure.
- Avoid Contact: Avoid direct skin contact with HEDP·Na4 granules. In case of accidental contact, promptly wash the affected area with plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
- Spill Response: In the event of a spill, contain the material and prevent it from spreading. Use appropriate tools, such as a scoop or brush, to collect the granules and transfer them to a suitable container. Dispose of the spilled material according to local regulations.
- Storage: Store HEDP·Na4 granules in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances, such as oxidizing agents, acids, and alkalis. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use to prevent accidental spills or exposure.
- Handling: When handling HEDP·Na4 granules, minimize the generation of dust or airborne particles. Use gentle handling techniques to reduce the risk of dispersing the granules into the air.
- Cleanliness: Maintain good personal hygiene practices, such as washing hands thoroughly after handling HEDP·Na4 granules. Clean up any spills or residues promptly and dispose of them properly.
- Emergency Preparedness: Familiarize yourself with the emergency procedures outlined in the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) provided by the manufacturer. Have emergency eyewash stations, safety showers, and spill response materials readily available in case of accidents or exposure.
- Training and Awareness: Ensure that all personnel working with HEDP·Na4 granules receive proper training on its safe handling, storage, and disposal. Regularly review safety protocols and maintain awareness of potential hazards associated with the granular form of the chemical.
Always consult the manufacturer’s guidelines, follow local regulations, and seek expert advice to ensure the safe handling of HEDP·Na4 granules.
